Katie Vie

Katie Vie

Essential Oils & Aromatherapy

Katie has been in the healing arts world as a practitioner and teacher for 20 years. Katie is a ritualist, anointress, scent designer, teacher, and writer. Her business, river island apothecary, is born from a lifetime of experiences and study.

Her love of ritual and women’s circles began as a kid in Girl Scouts. She studied symbolism through a literature degree and the healing arts as a massage therapist. She indulged her love of scent with Aromatherapy and the art of botanical perfumery and has participated in a school for women’s mysteries. Katie has lived off the grid, traveled thousands of miles on the back of a motorcycle, and followed her heart as an artist guided by plants and magic. Her signature anointing oils and mystical curriculum embody reverence, healing, adventure, and the poetic wisdom of nature.
